Started in 2018, the VNIT Summer Internship Programme (SSIP) aims to develop research skills and academic interest among engineering and science students. This year, the programme is open to students from all institutes across India. Selected interns will work on cutting-edge projects under VNIT Surat faculty members.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the VNIT Summer Internship Programme 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a B.E./B.Tech. student (having completed at least the 5th semester).
• Integrated M.Sc./M.Tech./Dual Degree students who have completed at least their 5th semester can also apply.
• Candidates must be among the top 20% of their class (based on CGPA/percentage), certified by their institute’s Dean or Head.
• Must submit a Project Write-up (Max. 500 words) explaining their research interest and ideas.
• Students in their final year or already graduated are not eligible.
• Should be available for the entire internship period (May 19 – July 18, 2025). Late joining or early leaving will not be allowed.
