Responsibilities of Software QA Engineer at NetApp

As a Software QA Engineer at NetApp, your role will involve the following:

Designing, developing, and executing software test plans and automation frameworks.
Conducting functional testing, systemic testing, and scalability testing.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in testing and production environments.
Implementing modern testing tools like Docker, Elastic Search, and Kibana.
Continuously learning and adopting new testing frameworks and technologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Expertise in Python and Shell scripting for test automation.
Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware ESX and Linux KVM.
Knowledge of data storage systems and cloud-based solutions.
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Docker, and Elastic Search is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving quality benchmarks.

Education and Experience:

B.E./B.Tech or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
Up to 2 years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality assurance.
