Job Role: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, your day-to-day tasks will include:
IT Asset Management & Deployment
- Install, configure, and manage desktops, laptops, POS systems, printers, and other IT hardware
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure assets are tagged and recorded across multiple store locations
System & Network Installation
- Deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points
- Install Windows/Linux operating systems, POS applications, and security tools
- Perform tests and validations before launching new store setups
Network Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Set up LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, and wireless networks for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network security
- Apply firewall rules and ensure system protection
IT Support & Maintenance
- Provide on-site and remote tech support for hardware, software, and networks
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades
- Maintain configuration records and troubleshooting documentation
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and OS systems (Windows/Linux)
- Hands-on experience with IT hardware, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Expertise in VPN configuration and cybersecurity best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel across India as required
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience: 2–5 years in IT hardware and networking, infrastructure setup, asset management, and router/system configurations
