About I4C : The Backbone of India’s Cybercrime Control

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) was launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs to create a robust framework for tackling cybercrime in India. It functions through seven powerful verticals, including :

  1. National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP)
  2. National Cybercrime Threat Analytical Unit (NCTAU)
  3. National Cyber Forensic Laboratory (NCFL)
  4. Joint Cybercrime Coordination Teams (JCCTs)
  5. Cybercrime Training Centre (NCTC)
  6. Cyber Ecosystem Management Unit (NCEMU)
  7. National Cyber Research & Innovation Centre (NCR&IC)

These verticals work together to investigate, analyze, and prevent cybercrime across the country.

Who Can Apply ?

To be eligible for the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre Internship, you must be :

  • A student pursuing UG, PG, or PhD from a recognized institution
  • Enrolled in one of the following fields :
    • Computer Science / IT / Engineering
    • Cyber Security / Information Security
    • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Analytics
    • Cyber Forensics / Criminology / Sociology
    • Law (LLB, LLM) or related legal studies
    • Any stream related to cyberspace or digital technology

Note: Only students from top institutes ranked under NIRF 2024 are eligible (Top 200 Engineering, Top 30 Law, and 165 Institutes of National Importance).

Responsibilities Of Summer Internship 2025 at Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre
