Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer (Java Full Stack Developer), you will be part of the Security Threat and Response Management (STRM) team. This team is responsible for developing security solutions to protect Mastercard’s digital assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work on end-to-end software development, and contribute to Mastercard’s enterprise security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Software Engineer

Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Stack, Hibernate, and React/Angular.
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Work on RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to define project requirements.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Ensure that applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
Automate development, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and debug complex issues across multi-tiered software architectures.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, encouraging best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills
